HOW LUBRINAC EYE DROPS WORK FOR THE TREATMENT OF EYE DISEASES?
Lubrinac eye drops is made up of 100% antioxidating and antiglycating medical-grade ingredients which may aid in the treatment and prevention of multiple eye problems such as cataracts, glaucoma, dry eyes etc. Lubrinac eye drops helps in improving vision naturally by offering deep nourishment to the eyes. It helps in making the cells, tissues and muscles of the eyes strong so as to make them function normal again. Its composition of natural minerals work together with the body's naturally occurring minerals to improve eye sight, fight away eye diseases and may even reduce the need for surgery. Lubrinac eye drops has proven to be a very good lubricating and cleansing agent for the eyes as well. It helps in lubricating and protecting dry eyes aswell as clearing away dust, dirt and other harmful agents from the eyes that may prove to be dangerous for the eyes and cause eye diseases.
As your pets age, eye health becomes a major concern. As they age, they find it harder fighting off free radicals that cause oxidative stress to their eyes. The lens of the eye acts like a shield to the retina, so the highly oxidized environment within the cells result from sunlight and oxygen, causing oxidative punishment to vision. The destructive action of free radicals (they are oxidizing agents) also damages or destroys enzymes that are needed to maintain cellular metabolism. And, since the blood flow decreases with age, the eye is further deprived of other essential nutrients for your pet's healthy vision. Glycation occurs as a result of nonenzymatic binding of sugar to protein, which could eventually lead to further tissue damage and cataracts.
Lubrinac for pets is one of the most advanced formula in the market that offers both protection and repair from the free radical damage because of its unique agent, an antioxidant. Lubrinac pet eye drops contains N-Acetyl-L-carnosine, a naturally occurring antioxidant and antiglycating agent that, when topically applied, depending on severity of damage, can penetrate and protect the lipid tissues of the eyes against sunlight, smoke and oxygen damage. It will help to diminish free radical damage and the harmful effects of glycosylation associated with degenerative eye disease.
So how does it really work? Well, the way it works is, a drop(s) of Lubrinac is put into the eye(s). Within 15 to 30 minutes, the N-Acetylcarnosine passes through the cornea where it starts to combat eye diseases. Essentially, N-Acetylcarnosine is a "carrier" for the di-peptide carnosine into the aqueous humor of the eye (this is the fluid area surrounding the lens). It is here that the substance becomes most active in its ability to basically act as a natural and comprehensive antioxidant. Once N-Acetylcarnosine has delivered carnosine safely through the aqueous humor and further into the eye, the carnosine itself is flushed out of the eye via the canal of schlemm, and once into the bloodstream it is broken down and excreted.
THE KEY INGREDIENT IS N-ACETYL-CARNOSINE:
N-Acetylcarnosine (NAC) is based on the naturally occurring nutrient di-peptide carnosine. NAC is the key ingredient in Lubrinac eye drops due to NAC’s potency at ‘mopping up’ free radicals. As the root of tissue damage and accelerated ageing in pets’ bodies, free radicals are the main culprit behind most pet eye conditions. Lubrinac eye drops deliver a powerful antioxidant (NAC) boost to the eye – counteracting the natural decline of antioxidants as pets grow older – to protect the eye lens proteins from free-radical induced deterioration. Lubrinac’s antioxidant-based formula improves eye health by addressing the root cause of many common eye disorders - free radical damage.
The major role of N-Acetylcarnosine and carnosine is its facility to act in the biological system as universal antioxidants. Research has shown that NAC is an extremely important endogenous antioxidant for cataract prevention and reversal and other common eye problems in pets. N-Acetylcarnosine (NAC) works the same way as carnosine, namely preventing free radical damage and reducing the risk of glycation. But NAC is particularly useful within the eye, because it remains biologically active for longer. N-Acetylcarnosine is relatively soluble in lipids (as well as in water). This means that N-Acetylcarnosine may pass through the lipid membranes of the corneal and lens cells more easily than carnosine, and may thereby gain access more readily to the cells interior, which is primarily aqueous. There, the N-Acetylcarnosine is gradually broken down to carnosine (and, perhaps, to histidine), which then exerts its beneficial effects.
Once inside the eye tissues, NAC transforms into pure carnosine and prevents free radicals from further destroying eye tissues such as the crystallins. NAC also reverses glycation (another key factor behind ageing and the development of cataracts) and crosslinking of the lens proteins, in other words, it may be useful in curing already existing eye damage. NAC also protect the lens proteins and membrane lipids from oxidative damage, thus preventing and reversing age-related cataracts in canine eyes. NAC/Carnosine is the only known antioxidant able to protect structural proteins of the lens/alpha-crystalline, from the free-radical induced oxidation process.
The peptide carnosine occurs naturally in your dog's eyes. However, over time, as your pet develops eye diseases in later years, his body becomes unable to synthesize this substance as normal. The result is deterioration of vision quality, along with the development of cataracts or other ocular obstructions. By supplementing your dog's eyes with additional NAC in the form of Lubrinac eye drops, you help to restore the natural balance found in healthy eyes. This process may help prevent developing cataracts, reverse developed cataracts, support healthy corneas, and much more…

BENEFITS WITH PROVEN RESULTS:
Lubrinac eye drops is the result of 45 years of Optho Remedies non-stop research and development. After many studies and clinical trials, Lubrinac eye drops have generated beneficial results and proven to be
effective and safe in the treatment of eye problems in pets. During the past 45 years, thousands upon thousands of pets suffering from cataracts, glaucoma and other incurable eye diseases have been benefited from the use of Lubrinac eye drops without the need for expensive vet visits or even surgeries.
BEFORE USE:
Before instilling the Lubrinac eye drops, wash your hands to prevent contamination of the vial. Do not touch the tip of the container with your fingers or make it have contact with any other surface.
DOSAGE:
Pets (Dogs & Cats): 1 to 2 drops in each eye 2 to 4 times a day until desired results have been achieved.
APPLICATION:
Lean your pet's head back so that it is looking upward. Hold your pet’s eye open and apply a single drop. After 10 seconds, repeat this procedure, while applying the second eye drop. Prevent their head from shaking for approximately one minute. After every use, replace the cap immediately.
STORAGE:
Pet owners should store Lubrinac at room or low temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or exposure to a high temperature environment. It should always be kept in a cool and dry place. Can be stored in the refrigerator but do not freeze to extend shelf life.
TREATMENT DURATION:
The recommended treatment duration with Lubrinac eye drops is at least 3-6 months or up to the consumption of 6 vials. Some pets may need a longer duration of use in order to achieve the desired results
depending on the severity of vision problem(s). Some pets may require using it for at least six months or more in order to achieve the desired results. In addition, if using for cataracts, the drops’ effectiveness is increased the sooner they are used after a cataract is detected. Also, considering that senile cataracts are an on-going aging disorder, N-acetylcarnosine may be required on a regular basis (1 drop in each eye daily) to help maintain the eye's natural antioxidant defenses.
SUGGESTIONS:
You may wish to continue occasional use of Lubrinac eye drops on your pet after the reduction/reversal of the eye disease in order to prevent any re-occurrence. As a preventative measure, 1 drop into each eye once a day may be used.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Keeping in mind the safety of your pet, this wonderful medication has been prepared from some of the most excellent pharmaceutical grade, antioxidating and antiglycating minerals. All its ingredients are totally safe for the eye and at the same time promote good health of the eyes in all respects. So far, no side effects have been reported with the use of Lubrinac eye drops on pets. Do keep in mind that if your pet is allergic to certain medications, then you should be aware of its ingredients and check any substance present in the formula to which they might be allergic to. In rare cases, a pet may experience a mild burning or stinging sensation in the eyes. Some pets do occasionally notice a temporary “blurring” in their vision for some time following use. Findings have shown that this effect may be from the breaking-up of the cataract.
PRECAUTIONS & WARNINGS:
You should open only one vial (the one you will use) at a time. Do not use the same vial that you are using on one pet on another one. To preserve its effectiveness, use each vial within 30 days after opening it. Do not store beyond room temperature and avoid the vial being in contact with direct sunlight. You can store in the refrigerator but do not freeze. If the eye tissue becomes more inflamed, red, irritated or uncomfortable after using this product, immediately discontinue the use of the product and consult a veterinarian if necessary. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.
DISCLAIMER:
While using Lubrinac eye drops, results will vary from pet to pet depending on the nature and severity of their eye problem. Some pet eye diseases may have gone past the point of effectively treating it with Lubrinac eye drops and may need professional medical attention. If you notice that Lubrinac is ineffective and no difference is noticed after using for some time, discontinue use, and if necessary, reach out to a veterinarian.
The makers of Lubrinac have done many trials and have found highly promising results. However, Lubrinac cannot guarantee that your pet will also have the same results. The Lubrinac solution is given to pets in good faith, however, you must use your wise judgement when administiring these eye drops.
PLEASE NOTE: Lubrinac and all statements are not deemed to treat, cure or be diagnostic in any way. Lubrinac and statements are to support the healthy function of the eye and are in no way a substitute for veterinary diagnosis and treatment. This is to make clear that Lubrinac is not soliciting pets with cataracts or claiming a complete cure for cataracts or any other eye disease. Every user of Lubrinac accepts that these eye drops work better for those pets who have cataract or other eye disorders in early stages and are seeking alternative therapies to reverse the eye condition(s). Lubrinac will not be responsible for vision loss and if your pet has complete clouding of the lens then it is advisable to seek other solutions aswell, if possible, as untreated cataracts can cause blindness.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
How soon will I see results:
As mentioned before, this being a natural medication, results will vary from pet to pet depending on the nature and severity of their eye condition. Again initial improvements generally present within the first 2-3 months. Optimal results are achieved with 6-12 months use. Once the optimal level of improvement has been reached, within 6 to 12 months time, it is advised to reduce the dose to 1 drop daily in the treated eye(s). HINT: Customers who do not use the product as instructed will likely not experience optimum results. It takes dedication and a steady commitment to apply the drops every day to your dog's eye, but persistence will pay off!
To what extent are cataracts reversed with use of Lubrinac:
In many cases the cataract is fully reversed and vision restored. With a
long lasting cataract that has "ripened", there is usually an improvement in eye sight. Complete reversal of cataracts is not possible in all cases. It really depends on the maturity of the cataract. When the cataract has hardened and calcified, it is more difficult to have a full recovery.
Do dogs with newer cataracts have a better success rate with this product:
If you begin applying the Lubrinac eye drops soon after noticing that a cataract has begun to form, you can generally expect quicker results. When a cataract has matured, it has likely already reached the stage of becoming somewhat hardened and calcified. As you can well imagine this makes it much more challenging for the dog's body to reverse the cataract. When the cataract has reached an advanced stage - when it has thickened and calcified - it typically does take longer to achieve optimum results.
Will my dog’s cataract come back again after it has been reversed by using Lubrinac:
While it takes 3-4 drops daily over 3-12 months to reverse a cataract, it takes far less to prevent the re-growth of cataracts. Therefore, once optimal level of reversal has been achieved, only one drop daily will prevent the return of a cataract. At this point the product will last far longer and so it will be far less expensive to maintain the health of your pets' eyes. Keep in mind that the same imbalance that allowed the cataract to form in the first place will still be present in your pet if you discontinue use of the product entirely. Unfortunately cataracts will sometimes return, unless n-acetylcarnosine is being applied regularly to the eye.
Will Lubrinac be as effective in treating injury induced, steroid medication, and/or diabetes dog cataracts:
Injury induced dog cataracts and dog cataracts that result from steroid medications or diabetes can be more resistant and can take longer to respond to the product. Consistency of application is even more critical
to success in the above mentioned scenarios and can mean the difference between minimal results and very good results. It also helps to space out the times between when the drops are applied and the insulin is given. It is best not to give the insulin shot at the same time that you apply the Lubrinac eye drops.
Is there any reason to even bother applying Lubrinac eye drops to my dog’s eyes if he/she is now blind:
Humans do not feel cataracts, but dogs feel cataracts as a constant irritant. That is why you may see your dog paw and scratch her eyes all the time. For dogs and other pets, having a cataract is like having sand caught in your eye which you can not rinse out. This irritation can be significantly relieved with use of Lubrinac eye drops.
A dog that is now blind is also a target for infection. The application of Lubrinac eye drops reduces the chances of infection and the possibility the eye may have to be removed with surgery. It goes without saying that it is always advisable to follow the advice of your veterinarian in cases where the cataracts have become so problematic that your dog is now blind.
If Lubrinac were originally developed for people, will they work equally as well with pets and other animals:
Yes, NAC has been effectively tested on dogs and rabbits. In fact because these animals lack an enzyme called carnosinase (which is found in humans) the drops actually work faster. This is because the lack of carnosinase means that more of the active ingredient enters the
eye and therefore more of the active ingredient is delivered.
Have there been any clinical trials done on Lubrinac:
Yes, the clinical trials show that the regular use of a 1% N-Acetylcarnosine (NAC) eye drops, delivers a high dose of carnosine capable of reversing the lens cross-linking of the lens crystallins and aids in the reduction and possible eradication of cataracts. Because of Lubrinac’s unique form of N-acetylcarnosine (1.0%), it has been shown
in animal clinical trials to help reduce, slow and even reverse the occurrence of senile cataracts.
What standards is Lubrinac manufactured to:
Lubrinac is made from approved raw materials of pharmaceutical standards (India). These drops are manufactured in a state of the art medical lab in cGMP and ISO2001 accredited facilities to above USA ophthalmic grade specifications and requirements. Then there is independent sterility testing carried out on them, by a leading independent test laboratory, as an extra security measure to ensure that every new batch of Lubrinac is of the exact same standard of excellence as the last.
Lubrinac is the only drops that is approved, tested, patented and recommended by its inventors. These NAC eye drops have already been tested and used successfully on tens of thousands of pets. So rest assured that this exceeds the quality of other NAC eye drops.
Cataract surgery versus Lubrinac eye drops:
Surgical procedures can remove a cataract entirely, but they are expensive, risky and may not be possible for some dogs. Additionally, cataracts that have been surgically removed may develop again. On the other hand, Lubrinac eye drops cost far less than surgery and have shown to be very effective with no known side effects. Treating developing cataracts with Lubrinac, N-AcetylCarnosine eye drops, may dramatically improve the state of your pet's cataracts and his/her eyesight. Of course, nature’s way is slower than surgery but as expressed before, it is far less invasive, less expensive and may be just as effective, depending on the maturity of the eye problem. But, in all honesty, we do not reccomend avoiding cataract surgergy if your pet has mature cataracts because in this case, Lubrinac eye drops might be less effective. You may still use Lubrinac on your pet’s eyes after cataract surgery, since Lubrinac has been found to be very effective in pacing up the healing process after surgery.
Lubrinac versus other similar products:
Unlike other similar products, Lubrinac eye drops unique formula only contains the purest quality ingredients, including 1% N-Acetylcarnosine, along with the most outstanding lubricants in an eye drop. Other similar products, such as Ethos Bright Eyes contain the ingredients citric acid, potassium bicarbonate and benzyl alcohol, which can be toxic for the eyes and can cause redness, burning and/or
irritation, particularly after prolonged exposure use. Other similar products add vitamin(s) to their formula, but, although vitamins given by mouth may help prevent age-related eye conditions, if these vitamins are given directly into the eye, they may cause damage to the eyes tissue. Furthermore, having vitamins in a formula can inhibit the conversion process of the NAC into carnosine inside the aqueous humor of the eye. Lubrinac only contains the necessary ingredients required for an effective eye drop of its kind, no extra or harmful ingredients have been added to the formula. Lubrinac also offers a protective and regenerative advantage that neither over-the-counter nor prescription eye drops can.
